Guillaume Montobio (Ghent °1883 - Ghent °1962) was a landscape and seascape painter. Educated in his hometown Ghent, he was part of the Second School of Latem movement. True to Latem fashion, Montobio was a faithful practitioner of a style that lay on the border between luminism and impressionism. To all of his paintings he added his unique touch of an exceptionally vibrant palette.
