‘Winter Salon’ is an exhibition in Galerie Raf Van Severen and mainly presents the work of 3 artists. First, Fingdan Qin and María Luisa Melendo are two contemporary artists who are both based in Belgium. Through these two artists, we open a new chapter in representing the contemporary art scene. The third artist is Serge Largot (1929-2019), who only recently passed away. Largot painted abstract works at the end of the 20th century and made an important contribution to the abstract art scene in Belgium. His work has de!nitely been going too much under the radar and through this exhibition we want to pay tribute to his œuvre. Artistic as his family was, there is also a painting included, from his wife, as well as his son. Further in the catalog, you can learn more about the artists.
